Facecard: Makeup Showdown [⭐UPD] Beginner Guide

A short path for your first Facecard round: read the theme, paint, confirm DONE, and rate every look.

First session

  1. Read the theme before you paint — Wait out the lobby countdown if you joined between rounds. When the paint screen opens, read the banner. It shows the theme, a one-line brief, and the clock. The clock turns pink near the end. There are over a hundred themes. Match the brief first, then add detail.
  2. Paint on a clean face — Every contest round starts on a clean bust. Your head base is the only choice that stays. Pick Classic, Aniya, or Mina under STYLE if you have not already. Then use MAKEUP: product on the left, colour on the right, draw on the face. Mirror starts on, which keeps both sides matched.
  3. Brush settings — Size, Strength, Softness, layers, and the pipette are explained in the painting guide.
  4. Head bases — All three bases are free and remembered for later rounds.
  5. Finish, then vote fairly — Press DONE and confirm the second tap, or let the clock collect the look as it is. During voting, rate every other look from 1 to 5 stars. Skipping a look counts as 1 star. You cannot rate yourself. Reactions do not change the score.
  6. What to open next — After one round you will know whether you want a saved face shape, a Freeplay practice look, or the rank ladder. Use the guides below instead of repeating the whole round here.
  7. Full round guide — Lobby, late joins, extra time, and how ties break.
  8. Sculpt — The two unlock steps, sliders, and presets.
  9. Codes — Where the button is, and why no code string is listed.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Facecard: Makeup Showdown free?

Yes. The experience is free to play on Roblox. VIP, the More Layers pass, the 2x Earnings pass, cash packs, reaction packs, and the extra-time button are optional Robux purchases.

How do you win a round?

Paint the shared theme, then get the highest average star rating from the other players. A tie goes to the look with more votes. You have to have painted in that round to place.

Are there working codes right now?

The shop has a code button, and new codes are shared on the game Discord. No code string was published in the Help Center, and this wiki does not list guessed codes.

How many head bases are there?

The Help Center lists three free head bases: Classic, Aniya, and Mina. Your pick is remembered. Makeup, lashes, and piercings fit every base. Face shape is a separate Sculpt setting.

Does my makeup stay for the next round?

No. Every round starts on a clean bust. Only your chosen head base stays. Load a Sculpt preset if you want your saved face shape back, and load a Lookbook look in Freeplay rather than in a contest round.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes. On a phone or tablet, one finger on the face paints, a drag on the background turns the head, and a pinch zooms. Stamps are placed by holding, sliding, then lifting.
